Delightful and relaxing. We haven’t had a self-catering apartment in Italy before and this one was very well-equipped We just made hot drinks and a simple breakfast each day, but the kitchenette was packed with useful items i.e. a colander when you wanted to wash fruit, traditional stove top coffee maker . We didn’t miss a pool as the beach was barely 3 minutes walk away. We were very pleased with the excellent air conditioning which was included in the price which we could set ourselves in the room. The sofa bed was comfortable as a sofa and there a little corners around the terrace in the shade to read a book. The balcony was large and had a drying rack. We didn’t suffer any noise from the area around the Residence. Grocery shops next to hotel and restaurants, pizzeria etc. A very happy experience and a good place to escape the over-crowded Cinque Terra. If it had rained we could hop on the train and go to Genoa or La Spezia very easily. We were very sorry to leave this Hotel and the lovely staff.
